The Who tab is used to configure who is to see=download an action from the Configuration database:
NOTE that whether an action is executed or not depends on settings on the What and especially the When tab.

NOTEThe Who tab supersedes the When tab - the When tab is only relevant if a user actually gets an Action according to the Who tab.

  1. Information as to whether deployment of an Action is restricted - by default, an Action is visible to and hence downloaded by all users.
  2. A button to create a new so called Access Definition - instead of having to create group documents in the public names- and address book, the MarvelClient Configuration database allows to create documents holding people, groups and/or certifier names which can be re-used across multiple Actions (naturally, groups from the public addressbook can be used, too). This may be convenient in case an Administrator is not allowed to create necessary groups in the public address book, or several groups are needed which should not all be stored in the public address book.
  3. ONLY FOR allows to deploy an Action to a subset of users
  4. List to select existing Access Definitions - if any. Select zero, one or multiple Access Definitions
  5. List of selected Access Definitions for ONLY FOR - helpful for when not all selected Access Definitions are shown in 4.
  6. Direct input (ONLY FOR): Directly enter people, groups and/or certifiers to whom the Action is to be deployed
NOTE: Direct input and Access Definitions only supports multi-purpose and security groups, not mail only groups.
NOTE: if BOTH Access Definitions AND direct input is used, the summary of BOTH will define who the Action is deployed to
NOTE: if ONLY FOR is checked, but no Access Defintions selected and no direct input (5) specified, the Action will be targeted at all users with role [Admin] in the MarvelClient Configuration database.
NOTE: An Action ALWAYS includes all users with role [Admin] in the Configuration database, unless again EXCLUDED
  7. EXCLUDE allows to again exclude an Action for a subset of users
  8. List of selected Access Definitions for EXCLUDE - helpful for when not all selected Access Definitions are shown in 4.
  9. Direct input (EXCLUDE): Directly enter people, groups and/or certifiers who are to be excluded from this Action
NOTE: Direct input and Access Definitions only supports multi-purpose and security groups, not mail only groups.
NOTE: If EXCLUDE is checked, ALL users with role [Admin] are excluded, too
