Call Quality Debug Level
The Call quality Debug level page shows you information about a call and its participants. The information is derived from both Microsoft CQD and our own agent. CQD data is usually not available right away, therefor this data may be added with a delay. Agent data from the OfficeExpert TrueDEM agent is shown as soon as it is available.
The top of the page displays the call status and indicates the available data source for populating the information below.
Data Sources:
- TrueDEM Agent Call Data Only - Information shown is based on TrueDEM Agent data only
- Microsoft Call Records Only - Information shown is based on Microsoft Call Records data only
- All Call Data is Available - Information shown is a combination of TrueDEM Agent data and Microsoft Call Records Data
A Call Status can either be "In-Progress or Recently Completed" or "Completed
Key elements are:
The attendee and relay map shows you where people are located and what relays were used during the call.
The attendee list shows you the attendees with an indicator of the their worst experience segment during the call. If real time data was collected for the attendee (requires the EPM agent), there will be a link to “Real Time Data”. This will give you specific real time metrics for the user and their device during the call. For users with an internal account, you will also see a link in the “Open User Details”.
Section: Impact of Issues
To quickly identify potential problems and causes for bad call experiences, use the Impact of Issues section. It shows you two lists.
- A list of attendees who had problems with their ‘send’ stream(s)
- A list of attendees who had problems with their ‘receive’ stream(s)
As problems with the send stream mean that the data is already impacted even before Microsoft receives it and distributes it to the other participants, this generally has impact on all attendees. Whereas problems with receive stream generally mean that only the affected attendee is impacted. The number of packets gives an indication of the duration of the problem.
Section: Local Networking
The local networking section includes two tables. The first table is primarily powered by Microsoft Call Records data, while the second table is entirely based on TrueDEM Agent data.
The Local Network Connection information is derived from Microsoft Call Records. A brief description for the first grid of the different columns is provided below
Local Network Connection based on Microsoft Call Records
DisplayName -- Name of the Attendee Connection Type -- Type of the Conenction (Wired or Wi-Fi) linkSpeed -- Network Link Speed Wi-Fi Signal Strength -- Average Signal Strength Wi-Fi Channel -- Used Wi-Fi Channel Wi-Fi Battery Charge -- Remaining Battery charge if Wi-Fi was used Wi-Fi Band -- Used Wi-Fi Band Wi-Fi Vendor Driver -- Wi-Fi Driver Vendor Name Wi-Fi Vendor Driver Version -- Version of the Wi-Fi Driver Wi-Fi Bssid - Used Accesspoint MacAddress - MacAddress of the Network Interface Wi-Fi MSFT Driver - Wi-Fi Driver Name from Microsoft Wi-Fi MSFT Driver Version -- Version of the Wi-Fi Driver from Microsoft Avg Bandwidth(Bytes) -- Average available Bandwidth Wi-Fi RadioType -- What Radio Type was used?
TrueDEM Agent Enhanced Network Detail
This data represents TrueDEM Agent data. A user may appear multiple times if they have utilized multiple sessions.
Example:
A brief description for the different columns is provided below
DisplayName -- Name of the Attendee. A user can appear multiple times if there are several sessions. Start -- Start of the Session End -- End of the Session Used Media -- Which Media was used by the User ? Other sections:
The other sections show you the specific metrics from CQD for the call as well as a general option to export all data in once. For ongoing calls and calls that recently finished, these sections may be empty if no CQD data has been received yet. In general, Microsoft makes this data available approximately 30 minutes after the call. OfficeExpert TrueDEM Real Time data will be available immediately by clicking the Real Time Data link behind one of the user names in the top.
Getting details for an individual user
To see CQD information for an individual user you can review the tables on the Call Quality Debug page you are on right now as that contains the data as provided by Microsoft.
To see the data collected by the OfficeExpert TrueDEM agent data directly from the device and Teams client click on the "Real Time Data" link in the participant table
This will open the Real Time Call Data – Details for an individual user page.
