| ENHANCEMENT / NEW | A warning will now be displayed in several forms in case a reference is entered in a field which expects a regular expression (or wildcards). As references get resolved on the client, the result of a reference is not automatically escaped. This can lead to problems when regular expression special characters are in the result of the reference (for example "Online (Office)" - the () are special characters). To prevent this you can change references to automatically escape their contents for regular expression use. This is done by changing the reference from <foo:bar> to <^foo:bar$>. The warning message will also display the affected references and how you should change them. |
